The Children’s Centre provides a range of support to children and their families from 0 – 5 years of age.
Monday*: Childminders Stay and Play 9:30 - 11:30. Parents United 12:30 - 14:30 (A group for lone parents with creche). Baby Massage 10:00 - 11:00 (This session is bookable). -WE ARE CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED UNTIL NEXT YEAR FOR BABY MASSAGE - Cooking Together 11:00 - 12:30 (For Creche only).
Tuesday: Boogie Mites 9:15 - 10:15. "I Can" 11:00 -12:00. Stay and Play 15:30 - 17:00.
Wednesday: Drop in Baby Clinic 9:30 - 11:30am. Adventurers Stay and Play 9:15 - 11:30am. Gardening Club 11:00 -12:00. Young Parents Group 12:30 - 14:30.
Thursday: Family Learning CALAT Course - Once upon a rhyme (6 weeks Nov-Dec) -THIS COURSE HAS NOW STARTED - Toddler Peep 12:30 - 13:30. Baby Peep 14:00 - 15:00. Tekki Tots 15:30 - 16:30.
Friday: Adventurers Stay and Play (0-5) 9:15 - 11:15am. Chill, chat and stay (SEN stay and play) 10:00 - 12:00am. NCT Bumps and babes 12:30 - 14:30.

Oasis Academy Shirley Park Nursery provision is based here for children aged 3-4, in the year before they start Reception. Free nursery places are available for up to 52 children through the Government’s early years funding scheme.
With its extensive links with the primary school, the Nursery provides the perfect introduction to learning and gives the children confidence and skills to transfer smoothly to their primary Reception classes when they reach 5.
A number of children’s services are based at the Centre all of whom work closely together to ensure parents and carers of young children receive support, care and guidance:
A team of Health Visitors, Community Nurses and Nursery Nurses from Croydon PCT support parents and carers in their homes.
A Duty Health Visitor provides telephone advice and support Monday – Friday between 9:00 – 10:00 in the morning and 3:00 – 5:00 each afternoon. Call 020 8 655 5682.

Croydon Opportunity Group . A team of highly qualified specialist SEN key-workers support parents/carers and children with complex physical and/or learning difficulties. They provide 1:1 support to children from 3months to nursery school age working closely with healthcare professionals and consultants across the Borough.
