Once again, Shirley Park students have done us proud and have made an increase on the already phenomenal results of last year with 97% gaining 5 A*-C GCSE passes. 52% of students gained 5 A*-C passes with English and Maths - an increase of 7% on last year. Congratulations to all students who took exams this year.
Congratulations to our Year 11 students who were the first to sit GCSEs last summer as Oasis Academy Shirley Park students.
The results far exceeded any official predictions and expectations; the results almost doubled, in some cases, on the previous summer's examinations. The tireless work and endeavour displayed by students, staff and parents alike are to be congratulated as they serve to improve the life-chances of these young people, providing them with a platform from which to move forward and create opportunities and successes for themselves.

These results have made us one of the most improved schools in the country and provide us with the momentum to move forward to become a centre of excellence, providing outstanding education to the local community. We were honoured to receive the 'Pixl Club' award for most improved school in the Pixl Club group of schools (132 schools).
