Oasis Academy Shirley Park is a 'uniform' school and, as such, all students must adhere to the uniform policies of the Primary and Secondary Phases; there are different uniforms for the two phases, although both feature the distinctive purple branding.

Children have bare feet in the hall and wear trainers/plimsolls for outdoor activities.

No jewellery (with the exception of a wristwatch) is to be worn. Any items of jewellery will be confiscated and may be stored in the school safe until a parent can collect it. If you wish your child to have their ears pierced, this should be arranged for the beginning of the summer holidays so that they can remove their earrings when they return to school in September.
No make up or nail varnish should be worn.

1. Every article of clothing must be marked with the student's name.
2. Each student must be responsible for his or her own clothing.
3. No clothing may be borrowed or loaned.
4. Clothing must not be left in school overnight.
5. Trainers may be only used for PE and break time.
Uniform will be checked rigorously each morning at the door by members of the Academy Leadership Team. Progress Mentors and Class Teachers will check students' uniform throughout the day.
