On Monday 10th February, a group of year 7 History students' visited Hampton Court Palace, which is one of the greatest and most historic palaces in Britain. It is best known for being the home of Tudor monarchs such as Henry VIII, Mary I and Elizabeth I.
Students' explored the Palace and participated in workshops about the 'religious roller coaster, which took place in Britain under the Tudor monarchs, led by an expert in Tudor history.
'My trip to Hampton Court was an amazing experience, we even saw where Henry VIII came out of his bedroom corridor. We also learnt the roller coaster of religion in the Tudor family'
'I learnt more about what happened inside the Palace, I enjoyed it because we learnt about King Henry and we got to see what people wanted from Henry.
