What an adventure year 7 students' had on their recent PGL adventure trip. The aim of the trip was to improve year group friendships and bonding with outdoor physical activities.
Students took part in many activities including canoeing, wall climibing, archery and abseiling. There was not a minute to spare as the children were entertained from the minute they arrived until the end of the weekend.
Please read below for students' comments and thoughts of the weekend:
PGL was amazing, I learnt how to abseil, how to rock climb, raft building and canoeing, but most importantly I learnt how to be a team player and I learnt to be responsible. I'm glad i went as I spent the weekend with friends and get to learn more about them and some teachers. Overall I am thankful for my mum for paying for me to go and for the teachers who assisted and organised this trip.
The weekend I went to PGL was one to remember, I had a great time during my visit. I went climbing, abseiling, rafting and canoeing. My favourite was rafting because I fell into a cold dirty lake, swam and pushed the raft around. The dorms were mostly fun and we had room to play sports and run around outside. Overall it was a great weekend and I can't wait for Bushcraft.
I'm one of the lucky students who got to go to PGL. The rooms were nice and the food was great. After a day of activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, raft building, archery and abseiling, I really enjoyed the trip and I hope there will be more.
