Year 7 WE Charity Committee Food Bank Donations

The Year 7 WE charity committee were very successful in their first event to support our local community.
With the holidays approaching in these uncertain times we managed to collect a massive amount of food which will be donated to the Shrublands Trust foodbank.
The children on the committee spoke to their tutor groups to raise awareness about why families may need to use a foodbank and what kind of food or toiletries they needed to donate. Once the donations came flooding in the children checked the sell by date on the products to ensure they could be donated.
A massive thank you to all the families who donated to support our local community.
